I want to help you develop your own financial skills and acheive the understanding you need to make your own trading decisions. Each day there is new information affecting the markets and your investments. If you have ever felt uncomfortable trusting an advisor to make critical decisions for you in a timely fashion, then you have come to the right website. I believe that if you have the desire, you can learn to invest in stocks and the financial markets safely - even if you only have a small amount to work with. I am a Chicago native and now reside in the beautiful northwest suburbs. I have a Masters Degree in Biochemistry and worked automating laboratories and software validation for many years. I found my niche in the Financial Markets and have been trading individual stocks since 1994. I enjoy keeping abreast of the financial news and teaching others about the markets, and particularly, how to understand their financial statements and decide when and how to re-allocate the holdings in their IRA's and investment portfolios. Since the Internet has grown, I have taught many people how to use the FREE Finance pages in My Yahoo! to research companies, track stocks and sectors, and paper trade a mock portfolio to gain confidence in their abilities. I DO NOT intend to include advice on WHAT you should invest in. There will be no stock or strategy recommendations - only instructional information to help you decide for yourself where to put your money. In 2006 I became a licensed financial representative in Illinois offering products in life insurance, mutual funds, variable annuities, mortgage loans and mortgage refinancing. I have trained novice investors for over seven years in our family owned business, K & K Mueller INC (previously Mueller Consulting Inc). My partner (wife) and I also manage several websites under the business name GreenForestWebsites. I hope the information I provide will help you learn to "invest for yourself" so you can "manage your own money with confidence".
